This page lists what is in every OUTCOME product and what each ingredient does. Not as a disclaimer. As a reference anyone can check against the bottle in front of them.


Pet Environment Care Spray

Benzalkonium Chloride

A quaternary ammonium compound used as a hospital grade disinfectant. It disrupts the cell membranes of bacteria, viruses, and fungi on contact. Effective, stable, and safe for food contact surfaces at the concentration used here.

Lactic Acid

A mild organic acid. Adjusts pH to the optimal range for disinfectant efficacy and contributes to odour neutralisation at a molecular level, not by masking the smell but by breaking it down.

Phenoxyethanol

A globally approved preservative. Prevents microbial contamination of the product itself, keeping the formula effective from first use to last.

Non-Ionic Surfactant

Lifts dirt, grease, and biological matter from surfaces. Non-ionic surfactants produce less foam than anionic alternatives, which means more contact time and better efficacy per spray.

EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic Acid)

A chelating agent that binds to metal ions in water. In hard water, dissolved minerals reduce the effectiveness of disinfectants. EDTA prevents that.

Iso-Propyl Alcohol

A fast evaporating alcohol that contributes to the rapid dry performance of the formula and provides additional antimicrobial action.

Fragrance

Present to provide a clean, neutral scent. Light, because the formula does not need to hide anything.


Everyday Hand Wash

Aloe Vera

A humectant that draws moisture to the skin surface and holds it there, directly countering the drying effect of repeated washing.

Green Tea Extract

Rich in polyphenols with antioxidant activity. Protects skin cells from the low level stress caused by repeated surfactant exposure.

Glycerin

Pulls moisture from the air and from deeper skin layers to the surface. Hands that feel tight after washing are usually missing this.

Cocamidopropyl Betaine

A plant derived amphoteric surfactant sourced from coconut oil. Cleans without stripping the skin's natural lipid barrier.

Lactic Acid

Keeps the formula at a mildly acidic pH, matching the skin's natural range and supporting the skin barrier after every wash.


Good Vibes Surface Cleaner

Citric Acid

A naturally derived acid that removes mineral deposits, dissolves grease, and acts as a mild disinfectant. Effective on glass, stainless steel, and ceramic. Note: repeated use on unsealed stone can etch the surface over time. Test first on unsealed marble or granite.

Decyl Glucoside (plant derived)

A non-ionic surfactant derived from plant sugars. Gentle, biodegradable, and effective at lifting dirt and grease without leaving a residue, which is what makes this formula safe for food contact surfaces without rinsing.

Quaternary Ammonium Compound

Provides the disinfection function. Effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria and viruses. Used in hospital and food service environments globally.

Non-Ionic Surfactant

Works alongside Decyl Glucoside for enhanced grease cutting performance. Compatible with disinfectants, unlike some anionic surfactants that reduce quat efficacy.


What is not in any OUTCOME product

  • Parabens: no methylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben, or butylparaben.
  • Heavy metals: no lead, arsenic, or cadmium in raw materials or finished products.
  • Hidden ingredients: what is on the label is what is in the bottle.
